OUR STORY

thanks to a lifelong obsession with delicious eating, sparked by parents with great culinary passions…i always strive to bring fun and flavor to everything i create. why eat boring food!?

Born for Food

As a product of two chefs, creating AND enjoying food together has been an integral part of my being from the start. I was fortunate (although at times it didn't seem like it) to grow up in my mom’s restaurant kitchen, where I saw her hard work and huge heart turn talent and passion into a successful business. I realize now how inspiring that time was for me, and it’s no surprise that connecting to people through food is one of my greatest joys and lifelong passions.

West Coast turned North Coast

After falling in love with the tacos at the Malibu beach-side restaurant I worked at, I became obsessed with creating my version of the creamy verdant sauce that came with them.  Eventually, bringing that iteration back to the PNW, we served my “green sauce” with fresh fish tacos and salads at my mom’s restaurant. The market testing had begun. Inspired by other sauces and sides I relished at my favorite restaurants, taquerias, and trucks; I started to complete the rainbow of flavor, all meant to be enjoyed with just about anything… especially tacos. After rounds of Cinco de Mayo snack boxes, big backyard taco feasts, a move to Cleveland Ohio, AND a baby…, it was time for me to turn my dream into a reality. Thus… Llamacita was born.

Food, flavor, fun, and, most importantly, family is at the heart of everything I do. Please enjoy, and happy eating!
